CNC Plasma Cutting
CNC plasma cutting provides an efficient way to cut shapes out of steel sheets with great accuracy and a good finish. FMP uses this method to cut out gusset plates, reinforcement pads, lifting lugs and even entire shell plates. This speeds up production times and with less need to do touch up work on the edges unlike manual cutting methods.
This machine can read an AutoCAD file and prepare a cutting plan from it, solving the need for programming and troubleshooting. The maximum size of sheet metal it can cut on is 9 metres length, 3 metres width, 28mm thick carbon steel or 25mm thick stainless steel.
